3 Star Umrah Packages

Most of our clients who've done Umrah before choose 3-star. Here's why — you're going to spend the majority of your time in the Haram, not in your hotel room. A clean bed, a decent breakfast, and a 10-minute walk to Masjid al-Haram is all you actually need. Our 3-star hotels in Makkah sit within 800 metres to 1 km of the Haram. In Medina, we use properties within walking distance of Masjid an-Nabawi. Prices start at $930 per person for 5 nights, all-inclusive with flights.

4 Star Umrah Packages

If you're travelling with elderly parents or young children, or want a bit more space after a long flight, 4-star hotels make sense. Better rooms, buffet dining so you're not hunting for food between prayers, and typically 600–800 metres from the Haram. We get a lot of families in this tier — it's the sweet spot between value and comfort. Starts at $980 per person.

What Is Umrah?

Umrah is a voluntary Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, that can be performed at any time of year. It involves four rituals: entering the state of Ihram, performing Tawaf (circling the Kaaba seven times), walking Sa'i between the hills of Safa and Marwa, and completing Halq or Taqsir (cutting the hair). Unlike Hajj — which is compulsory and restricted to specific days in the Islamic calendar — Umrah takes 3–5 hours to complete and can be done on any day of the year. For US Muslims, a complete Umrah trip including round-trip flights from major US airports takes 9–13 days and starts at $930 per person with Qiblatain.

Umrah Packages from USA — What You Get with Qiblatain

We've been putting US Muslims on planes to Makkah since 2010. In that time we've processed thousands of Umrah visas, dealt with every airline delay you can imagine, and learned exactly what makes or breaks an Umrah trip from the United States.

Our Umrah packages from USA start at $930 per person and include everything — round-trip flights from your nearest US airport, Umrah visa, hotel in Makkah and Medina, transport between cities, and a representative on the ground in Saudi Arabia who actually picks up the phone. No surprise charges when you arrive. What you see is what you pay.

We're ARC-certified, IATA-authorized, and officially accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. That's not just a marketing line — it means your money is protected, your visa is processed through official channels, and your package meets every Saudi regulation. Most US agencies can claim one of those. We hold all three.

Best Umrah Deals from USA 2026

Airline pricing changes constantly and so do hotel rates near the Haram. We update our Umrah deals every few weeks based on current seat availability and inventory. These are the best-value deals available right now for US pilgrims:

  • Cheapest Umrah deal: 5 Nights 3-Star from $930 per person — flights from JFK, ORD, IAH, DFW, or LAX + visa + hotel + transport. Fully all-in.
  • Best value deal: 7 Nights 4-Star from $1,020 per person — two extra nights for $90 more than the 5-night base. If you have the time, this is the pick.
  • Best luxury deal: 7 Nights 5-Star from $1,180 per person — full hotel amenities, under 500 metres to Masjid al-Haram.
  • Best Kaaba view deal: 5 Nights Clock Tower from $1,415 per person — direct Haram views from your room, steps from the entrance.
  • Best Ramadan deal: Book now for Ramadan 2027 — packages are already 60% sold. Ramadan Umrah from the USA fills faster than any other travel period we handle.
  • Before you compare our prices with other agencies — our prices include round-trip flights. Some agencies advertise under $700 without flights included. Always check what's in the package before you call anyone.

For the lowest Umrah deals, book at least 8 weeks out. Airline seats from JFK and ORD to Jeddah fill up fast for October through February travel.

All-Inclusive Umrah Packages — What's Actually Included

"All-inclusive" gets thrown around a lot in this industry. Here's exactly what it means when you book with Qiblatain — no vague language, no asterisks:

  • Round-trip flights from your departure city — JFK, ORD, IAH, DFW, LAX, EWR, or DTW. We book directly with the airline, not through third-party consolidators. Your ticket is in your name from day one.
  • Umrah visa — we handle the full application, documentation review, and submission. If your paperwork has an issue, we flag it before it goes to the Saudi consulate, not after. Our visa approval rate is above 99%.
  • Hotel in Makkah and Medina — confirmed, named hotels. Not "hotel or similar." We'll tell you exactly where you're staying before you pay a deposit.
  • Ground transport — private transfers from Jeddah Airport to your Makkah hotel, and between Makkah and Medina. No shared buses with strangers, no waiting on a curb at midnight.
  • Guided Ziyarat — visits to the key Islamic sites in both cities led by our on-ground representative. You'll visit Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatayn, the Cave of Hira, Jabal Thawr, and the Uhud battlefield and Baqi cemetery in Medina.
  • On-ground representative in Saudi Arabia — a real person who meets you at Jeddah Airport and stays reachable throughout your stay. Not a call centre in another time zone.

What's not included: personal spending, lunch and dinner beyond hotel breakfast, travel insurance, and optional upgrades. We'll tell you all of this before you book — not after.

All-inclusive Umrah packages from USA start at $999 per person. Call 332-334-0324 or WhatsApp us for a quote based on your departure city and dates.

Cheap Umrah Packages USA — Starting at $930

We're not going to pretend $930 isn't a significant amount of money. It is. But a round-trip flight from the US to Saudi Arabia alone costs $1,000–$1,400 if you book it yourself. Our $930 package includes that flight plus the visa, hotel, and transport — because we buy airline seats in bulk and negotiate hotel rates directly with Makkah properties.

That's how we keep prices down without cutting corners on what matters. Our cheapest packages use 3-star hotels we've personally vetted for cleanliness, safety, and proximity to the Haram. We don't put pilgrims in properties we wouldn't recommend to our own families.

If you've seen cheaper Umrah packages advertised online — under $700, say — read the fine print. Nine times out of ten, flights aren't included. Or the hotel is 3–4 km from the Haram, which means taxi fares every day anyway. Or it's a land-only package. Our $930 is genuinely all-in.

How to Get the Cheapest Umrah Package from USA

  • Book 8–12 weeks in advance. The earlier you lock in your airline seat, the lower the airfare component.
  • Travel in November or early January. Lowest demand, cheaper flights, better hotel availability. Weather is manageable — 20–26°C compared to summer heat of 40°C+.
  • Choose 5 nights over 7 if budget is tight. The Umrah rituals take 1–2 days. Five nights gives you enough time without paying for extra hotel nights.
  • Travel as a group. We offer discounted rates for groups of 5 or more. Call us for a group quote before booking individually.

What Does an Umrah Package from USA Actually Cost — And Why?

An all-inclusive Umrah package from the USA at $930 per person covers round-trip flights, Umrah visa, hotel in Makkah and Medina, and ground transport. Here's exactly how that breaks down so you can compare properly with any other agency.

What Makes Up the Cost

  • Round-trip flight — the biggest cost: A direct or one-stop flight from the US to Jeddah costs $900–$1,400 if you book it yourself. We buy seats in bulk from Saudi Arabian Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Turkish Airlines — that's the main reason our all-in package starts at $930.
  • Umrah visa: The Saudi government charges a visa fee per pilgrim. We handle the full application — documentation review, submission, and follow-up. Included in every package.
  • Hotel in Makkah — 3 to 5 nights: Hotel rates near Masjid al-Haram range from $80 to $400+ per night depending on star rating and proximity. We negotiate group rates directly with Makkah hotels — that's why our per-person cost is lower than booking independently.
  • Hotel in Medina — 2 to 3 nights: Included in all packages. Most pilgrims spend 2–3 nights visiting Masjid an-Nabawi and the surrounding sites.
  • Ground transport: Private transfers from Jeddah Airport to Makkah, between cities, and back to the airport. We use private coaches — not shared minibuses.
  • On-ground representative: Included at no extra cost. They meet you at the airport and stay reachable throughout your trip.

What's NOT Included — Budget for This Separately

  • Lunch and dinner (hotel breakfast included in most tiers)
  • Personal shopping and souvenirs
  • Travel insurance — we strongly recommend this, ask us for options
  • Saudi SIM card for data and local calls
  • Tips for guides and drivers — not mandatory, always appreciated

Most pilgrims spend an additional $200–$400 on meals, shopping, and personal items. Budget for this on top of your package cost.

Family & Group Umrah Packages

We handle a lot of family Umrah bookings — and they're always more complex than solo trips. Kids, elderly parents, different ages, different physical needs, connecting rooms. Here's what we actually do for families and groups travelling together from the USA.

Family Umrah Packages

  • Connecting or adjacent rooms: We request connecting rooms for families when booking. It's not guaranteed by hotels but we flag it at reservation stage — most of our family groups travel together without room separation issues.
  • Children on Umrah: Children can perform Umrah and it's a highly recommended experience. There are no age restrictions for Umrah. We've taken families with children as young as 5. Inside the Haram, children must be supervised — the crowds during peak times are serious.
  • Babysitting and childcare: Available on request at most 4-star and 5-star hotels we use. Ask us when booking if you need this arranged.
  • Wheelchair access for elderly family members: Masjid al-Haram provides wheelchair services. We coordinate the booking in advance — don't leave this to chance on arrival, especially during Ramadan or school holiday periods.

Group Umrah Packages

We handle group bookings from Islamic centres, mosques, community organisations, and families across the US. For groups of 5 or more travelling together, we offer discounted per-person rates on both flights and hotels. The more people in your group, the better the rate we can negotiate.

Group bookings also get priority processing on visas — we submit all group applications together, which speeds up the review process at the Saudi consulate.

If you're organising a group Umrah from your masjid or community, call us at 332-334-0324 before anyone in the group books individually. Group rates are not available after individual bookings are made.

Ramadan Umrah Packages from USA 2027

Ramadan Umrah from the USA is our fastest-selling product every year — and the one we get the most calls about. Here's what you need to know before you book.

When Is Ramadan 2027?

Ramadan 2027: Approximately February 6 to March 7, 2027. Packages for 2027 are already partially sold — book now if you're planning ahead.

What Makes Ramadan Umrah Different

Makkah during Ramadan is unlike any other time of year. The atmosphere in Masjid al-Haram — especially for Tarawih prayers and the last 10 nights — is something most pilgrims describe as incomparable. If you can only do Umrah once, Ramadan is the time most scholars recommend.

That said, be prepared for what it actually involves: the largest crowds of the year, hotels at premium prices, and Tawaf slots that book out through the Nusuk app within hours. It's worth it — but don't go in expecting a quiet trip.

Ramadan Umrah Pricing from USA

Ramadan packages cost 25–40% more than off-peak travel due to airline demand and hotel premium pricing near the Haram. Our Ramadan Umrah packages from the USA typically start at $1,250–$1,500 per person depending on departure city, hotel tier, and how early you book. Packages for the last 10 nights of Ramadan are the most expensive and the first to sell out.

How Early Should You Book Ramadan Umrah from USA?

For Ramadan 2027, book now. Seriously. We start seeing seats fill up 8–10 months before Ramadan. Anyone who calls us in December asking about Ramadan packages in February is usually choosing between limited options at higher prices. The pilgrims who get the best hotels at the best prices booked in the spring of the prior year.

Best Time to Perform Umrah from USA in 2026

The best time depends on what matters most to you — spiritual reward, cost, comfort, or school schedules. Here's the honest breakdown for each period.

Ramadan — February 17 to March 18, 2026

Most spiritually significant. The atmosphere in Makkah during Ramadan is unlike any other time. Most expensive, most crowded, most hotels within walking distance of the Haram sold out months in advance. Book at least 6–8 months ahead for Ramadan travel. Not recommended as a first Umrah trip for elderly pilgrims due to the crowds.

Winter — November to January (Excluding Ramadan)

Best combination of value and comfort. Temperatures in Makkah sit at 20–26°C — genuinely pleasant for Tawaf and Sa'i outdoors. Fewer pilgrims than Ramadan or school holiday periods. Airfares are at their lowest. This is when we recommend most first-time pilgrims travel, especially families and elderly pilgrims.

School Holidays — December and Spring Break

Good for US families with school-age children. Winter break runs roughly December 22, 2026 to January 5, 2027. Spring break is typically mid-April. Hotels near the Haram fill up during US school holidays — book 3–4 months ahead for these windows.

Summer — June to September

Possible but not ideal. Makkah temperatures hit 40–45°C in summer. Performing Tawaf and Sa'i in that heat is physically demanding — manageable for younger, healthy pilgrims but difficult for elderly or unwell travellers. Prices are lower than peak season but the heat is a real factor.

Quick Recommendation by Pilgrim Type

  • First time, any age: November or early January — best weather, manageable crowds, lowest prices
  • Maximum spiritual reward: Ramadan — book 6–8 months ahead
  • Families with children: Winter school break or spring break — book 3–4 months ahead
  • Elderly pilgrims: November or December — cooler temperatures reduce physical strain significantly
  • Budget-conscious: Early November or early January outside school holiday periods

Umrah Packages for Women from USA — No Mahram Required

In 2021, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah officially removed the mahram requirement for Umrah. Women of all ages can now perform Umrah independently — without a male guardian. Since then, we've helped hundreds of American Muslim women travel for Umrah alone, with friends, or in all-female groups from the USA.

What We Arrange for Women Travelling Alone

  • Female group assignments: If you're travelling alone, we connect you with other women from the US travelling at the same time. You won't be the only solo woman in a mixed group.
  • Female guides for Ziyarat: We arrange female-led guided visits wherever possible for groups that are all-female or majority female.
  • Room arrangements your way: Single occupancy or female-sharing — your choice. We don't put solo female travellers in shared rooms with strangers without asking first.
  • Airport pickup: Our representative at Jeddah Airport meets every group — including solo female travellers. You won't navigate a Saudi airport alone at 2am.
  • 24/7 contact: Our Chicago office and Saudi representative are reachable around the clock. If something doesn't feel right at any point, you have someone to call immediately.

Visa Requirements for Women from USA

The same as any US pilgrim — valid passport with 6+ months remaining, ACWY vaccination certificate, passport photos, and booking confirmation. There's no longer any requirement for a mahram's signature or consent documentation.

Call 332-334-0324 or WhatsApp +1-914-520-0581 to ask about our next available female group departures.

Umrah Packages for Elderly & Senior US Pilgrims

We've helped pilgrims in their 70s and 80s complete Umrah without issue. Age isn't a barrier — but it does require more planning than a standard booking. Here's what we specifically arrange for elderly US pilgrims.

  • Hotel proximity matters most: For elderly pilgrims, we always recommend 5-star or Kaaba view packages. Our 5-star hotels are 300–500 metres from Masjid al-Haram. Kaaba view rooms are directly above the complex. The shorter the walk, the less physical strain during Tawaf and Sa'i.
  • Wheelchair coordination: Masjid al-Haram provides wheelchair services inside the mosque. We coordinate booking in advance — don't leave this to chance on arrival, especially during Ramadan or school holiday periods when demand is high.
  • Flight upgrades: 14–17 hours in economy is hard on anyone with joint or circulation issues. We can arrange business class or premium economy upgrades. Ask us when you call and we'll get pricing for your dates.
  • Family companion arrangements: Travelling with a parent or grandparent? We book connecting rooms and keep the group together throughout. No one gets separated at the hotel or on transfers.
  • Medical considerations: If you have heart conditions, diabetes, or mobility issues — consult your doctor before booking. Makkah in summer hits 40–45°C. We'd recommend November through January travel for elderly pilgrims specifically to avoid heat-related strain.

Call us at 332-334-0324 to discuss the right package for an elderly family member. We've had this conversation hundreds of times and can advise based on your specific situation.

Umrah Packages by Departure City — USA

We offer Umrah packages departing from all major US cities. Every city page shows packages with flights from your local airport, current pricing, and available travel dates.

  • Umrah Packages from Chicago — Departing from O'Hare (ORD). Chicago is our home city. We know this route better than anyone.
  • Umrah Packages from Houston — Departing from George Bush Intercontinental (IAH). Houston has one of the largest Muslim communities in the US — we handle dozens of Houston group bookings every year.
  • Umrah Packages from New York — Departing from JFK or EWR. The highest-frequency route we operate — more flight options mean more flexibility on dates and pricing.
  • Umrah Packages from Dallas — Departing from DFW.
  • Umrah Packages from Detroit — Departing from DTW. Detroit's Arab and Muslim American community is one of the largest in the country. We serve this market year round.
  • Umrah Packages from Los Angeles — Departing from LAX. West Coast travel adds 2–3 hours to total journey time — we factor this into rest arrangements at the Makkah hotel.
  • Umrah Packages from Washington DC — Departing from IAD or DCA.

Not seeing your city? We can arrange Umrah packages departing from any US airport. Call 332-334-0324 and tell us your nearest airport — we'll find available routing.

Umrah Visa Requirements for US Citizens & Residents

The Umrah visa for US pilgrims requires four things. Here's exactly what you need:

  • Valid US passport with at least 6 months remaining validity beyond your return date. Check your expiry date before you call us — if it expires within 8 months, renew it first.
  • ACWY meningococcal vaccination certificate. This is a mandatory Saudi government requirement. Get it from your doctor or a travel health clinic. Allow at least 2 weeks before travel for the vaccination to be valid. Keep the physical certificate — Saudi authorities check it.
  • 2 passport-sized photographs on a plain white background. Standard passport photo size. Most pharmacies and print shops can do these same day.
  • Completed Umrah visa application form. We provide the form and review your completed application before submission. This is where most rejections happen — small errors in the form that we catch before they reach the consulate.

Green Card holders: Apply using your home country passport, not your US Green Card. The visa goes into your passport of citizenship.

US residents on non-immigrant visas: Contact us to discuss your specific visa status — requirements can vary. We've successfully processed Umrah visas for pilgrims on most common US visa categories.

We handle the full visa process for every pilgrim we book. For a free visa consultation, call 332-334-0324.

See our full Umrah Visa page for more detail.

First-Time Umrah Guide for US Muslims — What to Expect

If this is your first Umrah from the USA, here's a straight-forward rundown of what the trip actually looks like — from leaving home to coming back.

Before You Leave the USA

Your visa is processed before departure — you don't apply at the airport. Get your ACWY vaccination at least 2 weeks before travel. Download the Nusuk app (Saudi Arabia's official Umrah app) — you'll need it to book Tawaf slots, especially during peak season. Pack light. Ihram clothing for men is two pieces of unstitched white cloth. Women wear modest, loose-fitting clothing — no specific colour requirement.

The Flight — Getting from USA to Jeddah

There are no non-stop flights from the US to Jeddah. All routes involve one connection — typically Dubai (Emirates), Doha (Qatar Airways), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines), or Riyadh (Saudi Arabian Airlines). Total travel from the US East Coast is 14–16 hours including the layover. West coast adds 2–3 hours. Most pilgrims sleep on the longer leg. Our representative meets you at Jeddah Airport outside arrivals — you won't navigate a foreign airport alone.

The Umrah Rituals — Step by Step

  • Ihram: You enter the state of Ihram before or upon arrival in Makkah. Men wear the two white cloths, women wear modest clothing. You make the niyyah (intention) for Umrah and begin reciting the Talbiyah: "Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk..."
  • Tawaf: Circle the Kaaba seven times counter-clockwise starting from the Black Stone (Hajr al-Aswad). During peak times, book your Tawaf slot through the Nusuk app before you arrive. Our guide walks with your group for the first Tawaf.
  • Sa'i: Walk seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwa — retracing the steps of Hajar, wife of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). The path is fully enclosed inside Masjid al-Haram and air-conditioned. Wheelchairs are available.
  • Halq or Taqsir: Men shave their heads (Halq) or shorten their hair (Taqsir). Women cut a small amount from the ends of their hair (Taqsir only). This completes the Umrah. You exit the state of Ihram.

The four rituals take most people 3–5 hours. Many pilgrims perform Tawaf and Sa'i again voluntarily during their remaining days — there's no limit after your Umrah is complete.

Medina

Most Qiblatain packages include 2–3 nights in Medina, before or after Makkah. The main visit is Masjid an-Nabawi — the Prophet's Mosque (peace be upon him) — and the Rawdah. Our guided Ziyarat covers Masjid Quba (the first mosque in Islam), Masjid al-Qiblatayn, Jabal Uhud, and the Baqi cemetery.

What to Pack for Umrah from USA — Practical Checklist

This list is based on what our clients actually needed — and what they wished they'd brought or left at home. Keep luggage light — Saudi airports handle millions of pilgrims and queues are real.

Documents — Non-Negotiable

  • Valid US passport (6+ months remaining)
  • Umrah visa — keep a printed copy, not just digital
  • Round-trip flight tickets printed and on your phone
  • Hotel confirmations for Makkah and Medina
  • ACWY vaccination certificate — physical copy
  • Travel insurance documents
  • Qiblatain representative number: +1-914-520-0581
  • Emergency contact details left with family in the USA

Clothing

  • Men: Two sets of Ihram cloth — unstitched white. Buy in the USA or in Makkah. 4–5 days of casual clothing. Comfortable walking shoes. Sandals for inside the Haram — shoes are left at the entrance.
  • Women: 4–5 modest, loose-fitting outfits. An abaya for inside the Masjid. Flat comfortable shoes — heels are impractical on marble floors. Small prayer scarf for your bag.

Health & Comfort

  • Prescription medications — bring more than you need
  • Small first aid kit: paracetamol, antacids, blister plasters
  • SPF 50+ sunscreen — Makkah sun is intense year round
  • Unscented soap and deodorant — scented products are not permitted while in Ihram
  • Reusable water bottle — Zamzam water is available throughout the Haram at no cost
  • Compression socks for the long-haul flight
  • Travel neck pillow

Tech & Practical

  • Unlocked smartphone with Nusuk app downloaded
  • Saudi SIM or international data plan — buy the SIM at Jeddah Airport, it's easier than sorting before you travel
  • Type G travel adapter — Saudi Arabia uses the same plug type as the UK
  • Portable battery pack — your phone is your map, compass, and communication device in Saudi Arabia
  • Small backpack for the Haram — leave valuables in the hotel safe

Leave at Home

  • Scented perfumes, colognes, or lotions — prohibited in Ihram
  • Expensive jewellery
  • More than one large suitcase — you don't need it and it slows you down at every airport

Flights from USA to Jeddah for Umrah

Every Qiblatain all-inclusive package includes round-trip flights. Here's the practical information about the journey so you know what to expect.

Airlines That Fly from USA to Jeddah

There are no non-stop flights from the US to Jeddah. All routes involve one connection:

  • Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia): Via Riyadh. Generally most affordable. Flies from JFK, IAD, and ORD.
  • Qatar Airways: Via Doha (DOH). Comfortable, good business class. Layover typically 2–4 hours.
  • Emirates: Via Dubai (DXB). Widest US departure network — JFK, LAX, ORD, IAH, DFW, and more.
  • Turkish Airlines: Via Istanbul (IST). Often the most competitively priced. Good network from US cities.
  • Etihad: Via Abu Dhabi (AUH). Less frequent but worth comparing on price.

Flight Duration from Major US Cities to Jeddah

  • New York (JFK): 14–16 hours total including connection
  • Chicago (ORD): 15–17 hours
  • Houston (IAH): 16–18 hours
  • Los Angeles (LAX): 18–21 hours
  • Dallas (DFW): 16–18 hours
  • Detroit (DTW): 15–17 hours
  • Washington DC (IAD/DCA): 14–16 hours

Managing the Long Haul

14–18 hours is a long time in economy class. A few things that help: compression socks to reduce leg swelling, an aisle seat if you need to move around, downloading your Quran app and audio lectures offline before boarding, and sleeping on the longer leg. Most pilgrims arrive in Jeddah late at night or early morning — plan to rest at the hotel before starting Tawaf.

Jeddah Airport — What to Expect on Arrival

Most international Umrah flights arrive at Terminal 1 or the Hajj Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport. Our representative meets you in the arrivals hall holding a Qiblatain sign. Transport from the airport is included in every package — you don't arrange anything yourself. The drive from Jeddah Airport to Makkah is approximately 80km and takes 1–1.5 hours by road.

How to Book Your Umrah Package from USA

We don't have an automated online checkout — Umrah bookings involve visas, specific flight inventory, and hotel availability that changes daily. Here's exactly how it works:

  • Call or WhatsApp us with your details. Tell us your departure city, how many people are travelling, rough travel dates, and your budget. We find the best available option for your situation. Call 332-334-0324 or WhatsApp +1-914-520-0581.
  • We will send you a full quote within a few hours. It shows the exact hotel name, exact flight, visa fee, and total cost. No hidden numbers. Want to adjust anything — we revise before you pay a penny.
  • We handle the Umrah visa. Send us your passport copy, vaccination certificate, and photos. We review every application before it goes to the consulate to catch errors before they cause a rejection.
  • You pay and receive confirmation. Payments go through our ARC-certified system — your money is protected from the moment it leaves your account. Flight and hotel confirmation arrive within 48 hours.
  • Pre-departure briefing. We'll go through what to pack, what to expect at Jeddah Airport, the Umrah rituals step by step, and how to reach our on-ground rep. First-time pilgrims always have more questions than they expected at this stage — that's normal, we're used to it.

Not ready to book yet? That's fine. Call us, ask whatever you need to know, and book when you're ready. We're not going to rush you into a deposit.

About Qiblatain — Chicago-Based Umrah Specialists

Qiblatain is based in Chicago. We've been booking Umrah packages for US Muslims since 2010 — from New York to Los Angeles, Detroit to Houston. Over that time we've worked with first-timers who'd never left the US, elderly pilgrims travelling without family, women travelling independently, and large group bookings from Islamic centres across the country.

Our team has performed Umrah. We know what it's like to land at King Abdulaziz Airport at 2 am after a 14-hour flight. We know the difference between a hotel that says it's "near the Haram" and one that actually is. We know which airlines have the best on-time records on the JFK–Jeddah route and which ones consistently delay. That kind of knowledge only comes from doing this for 15 years.

We hold three certifications that matter in this industry: ARC (your payments are protected), IATA (we ticket directly with airlines at wholesale rates), and Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah accreditation (we process visas through official channels). We're one of the very few US Umrah agencies that hold all three simultaneously.

Our Chicago office handles everything from initial enquiry to post-trip follow-up. When you call 332-334-0324, you're talking to someone who knows your package, knows Saudi Arabia, and can solve your problem — not a script reader routing you somewhere else.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an Umrah package from the USA cost?

Umrah packages from the USA start at $930 per person for a 5-night 3-star all-inclusive trip — flights, visa, hotel in Makkah and Medina, and ground transport. The price goes up based on hotel tier and duration: 7-night 4-star runs $1,020, 5-star packages from $1,130, and 5-star Kaaba view from $1,685. If you've seen prices under $800 anywhere, check whether flights are included — most aren't.

What's the cheapest Umrah package from the USA right now?

Our cheapest Umrah package is the 5-night 3-star at $930 per person, departing from JFK, ORD, IAH, DFW, or LAX. That includes round-trip flights, Umrah visa, hotel in Makkah and Medina, and ground transport. To get that price, book at least 8 weeks out and avoid Ramadan and December — prices increase significantly during those periods.

What does an all-inclusive Umrah package from USA include?

Our all-inclusive Umrah packages include: round-trip flights from the US, Umrah visa processing, hotel in Makkah and Medina, private transfers from Jeddah Airport, guided Ziyarat to the Islamic sites, and an on-ground representative in Saudi Arabia. Hotel breakfast is included in most tiers. Lunch and dinner are not — there's no shortage of food near the Haram. All-inclusive Umrah packages from USA start at $999 per person.

Which is the best Umrah travel agency in the USA?

We're going to say Qiblatain — but here's what to actually check when comparing any US Umrah agency: Do they hold ARC certification? IATA authorization? Saudi Ministry accreditation? Do they name the exact hotel before you pay? Is there someone physically on the ground in Saudi Arabia? Qiblatain holds all three certifications, names the hotel upfront, and has on-ground reps in Makkah and Medina. Not every US agency can say the same.

What documents do I need for an Umrah visa from the USA?

Four things: a valid US passport with at least 6 months remaining, your ACWY meningococcal vaccination certificate, 2 passport photos on a white background, and a completed visa application form. We handle the form and submission — you provide those three documents. Green Card holders apply using their home country passport, not their US Green Card.

Can women travel for Umrah from the USA without a mahram?

Yes. Saudi Arabia officially removed the mahram requirement for Umrah in 2021. Women of any age can now perform Umrah independently or in a group. If you're a woman travelling alone from the USA, we assign you to a group of other female pilgrims and arrange a female guide for Ziyarat. Call 332-334-0324 to discuss the specific arrangements for your trip.

What is the best time to perform Umrah from the USA in 2026?

For spiritual reward: Ramadan, which runs roughly from February 17 to March 18 in 2026, is the most spiritually significant period but also the most expensive and crowded. For value and comfort: November or early January — fewer pilgrims, lower airfare, cooler weather (22–26°C). For families with school-age children: winter school break in late December or spring break in April. Book early for all of these — US departure seats fill months in advance.

How long does an Umrah trip from the USA take?

Our packages are 5 or 7 nights on the ground in Saudi Arabia, plus approximately 2 days travel each way, depending on your departure city and connections. Total trip is typically 9–11 days for a 5-night package and 11–13 days for 7 nights. The Umrah rituals themselves — Ihram, Tawaf, Sa'i, and Halq — take most people 3–5 hours to complete.

Can I customise my Umrah package from the USA?

Yes. Call 332-334-0324 with your departure city, travel dates, preferred hotel tier, and number of travellers. We'll put a quote together within a few hours. Want to add nights, upgrade hotels, or include extra Ziyarat visits — we can build that in. Most bookings involve at least some customisation.

Does Qiblatain offer payment plans for Umrah packages?

Yes. We work with partner financing institutions to offer instalment payment plans so you don't have to pay the full cost upfront. Call 332-334-0324 to discuss what's available for your package and travel dates.
